AI Delivery Lead – GenAI Programs (Financial Services)Lead the orchestration of enterprise AI initiatives in a fast-evolving insurance environment. This hybrid Toronto opportunity sits at the crossroads of AI, Data, and Engineering, ensuring high-visibility programs move from prototype to production with clarity, speed, and operational excellence.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $60-66 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $72-78 per hour.
• 6-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
• In-office presence required from Tuesday to Thursday.
• Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the integrated AI delivery plan from discovery through production.
• Coordinate milestones, dependencies, and cross-functional commitments across AI, Data, GDO, GFT, and Platform teams.
• Ensure technical teams remain aligned with project timelines, scope, and delivery expectations defined by the Project Manager.
• Monitor and flag delivery risks related to data availability, model readiness, security, compliance, scalability, and integration.
• Track cross-team dependencies and raise early alerts to the Project Manager when conflicts arise.
• Recommend mitigation options and ensure clear visibility into risks, trade-offs, and decisions.
• Coordinate activities required to meet production-grade standards, including transition and handover planning.
• Facilitate architecture, security, and compliance checkpoints to ensure readiness for deployment.
• Align support models, incident response preparation, and post-production ownership prior to release.
• Support the preparation of clear and concise delivery updates across timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Translate complex technical progress into business-friendly summaries for stakeholder communications.
• Serve as a secondary point of contact for delivery-related inquiries, ensuring consistency with Project Manager messaging.
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Agile, Scrum, PMP, or project delivery methodologies are considered an asset.
• 8+ years of experience supporting delivery of complex digital, data, or AI initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams including AI, data, engineering, and architecture within a matrixed enterprise environment.
• Working knowledge of AI and machine learning delivery lifecycles from experimentation through production deployment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and enterprise release management processes.
• Proven ability in risk identification, dependency mapping, and structured issue escalation.
• Experience supporting production readiness activities including security, compliance, and operational transition planning.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
