Overview
The AdTech Manager will implement and oversee AdTech solutions for our Retailer CX client portfolio. This individual will manage Retailer AdTech development needs, Retailer and Campaign Ad Tagging strategies, creative ad tagging, as well as participate in MarTech solution support. The AdTech Manager will report to the Vice President, Retail Media & Data Strategy. The candidate will also work in lockstep with the VP of Analytics and collaborate with the Media and Client Leadership teams. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Toronto for a hybrid work schedule.

Accountabilities
- Manage the development, trafficking, and optimizations of advertising campaigns, with a focus on Google Marketing Platform/Campaign Manager 360 (CM360).
- Develop tracking/tagging strategies for retailers (e.g., for on‑site campaigns using Google Ad Manager).
- Lead the technical design of dynamic advertising and personalization strategies to deliver relevant messages based on consumer journey stages and develop use case roadmaps.
- Provide strategic and operational support for managing Data Management Platforms (DMP), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), and Data Clean Room solutions (e.g., use case design, audience framework, platform integration, data analysis, etc.).
- Analyze first‑party data to create audience segments in DMP and CDP platforms, advising on relevant targeting strategies.
- Oversee media activation for retail media campaigns by defining audience activation budgets, testing match rates, and developing personalization strategies for targeted audience segments.
- Lead campaign troubleshooting and issue resolution with client teams, creative agencies, and clients as required.
- Be the day‑to‑day ad operations contact, leading any technical client questions/requirements.
- Advise programmatic managers and ad ops specialists to optimize processes/campaigns by leveraging AdTech capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Analytics team on selecting, developing, or implementing MarTech, Data Governance, and Measurement solution architectures for our clients. Support with partnerships and integrations with AdTech and MarTech tech partners.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years in a hands‑on role managing AdTech platforms.
- Advanced experience with ad trafficking, digital marketing, campaign management, or comparable experience.
- Advanced experience with AdTech implementation.
- Proficient in SQL; Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, and Python experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of display, video, social, DSP and DMP tech needs with media providers such as DV360, TTD, Meta, LiveRamp, and CM360.
- Expertise in cross‑channel and cross‑device tracking, optimization, and attribution, using platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Adjust.
- Easily handle multiple competing priority initiatives at once, delegating and escalating where needed.
- A self‑starter with ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment.
- Ability and track record of cultivating strong relationships both internally and externally.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000 CAD annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
