Right at Home Canada Fraser Valley is part of an international family of over 550 Care Offices around the globe. We provide a full suite of both non-medical and medical care, products and services to older adults and disabled adults who want to continue to live independently, wherever home is for them.

Right at Home is currently seeking a part time
Administrative Assistant/Scheduler
to become part of our team in our Abbotsford office. This position is 25 hrs/wk and requires working either a Saturday or Sunday.

The
Administrative Assistant/Scheduler
is responsible for service inquiries, scheduling employees and maintains scheduling information and data as required. Our company is growth focused and looking for a passionate individual who takes initiative, looks at challenges as opportunities and always follows through.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone and respond to client inquiries regarding services provided an input in CMS
  • Respond promptly and courteously to all clients calls
  • Assist and ensure all client and staff onboarding documents are uploaded in software
  • Schedule employees for care and service based on the client's needs
  • Notify clients and employees regarding initial and ongoing schedules
  • Fill vacant shifts and monitor caregiver hours
  • Track and maintain all employee leaves
  • Monitor scheduling conflicts and urgent changes
  • Reconcile caregiver hours against client billing
  • Verify overtime, stat holidays, and mileage
  • Schedule and conduct caregiver orientation and set up training needs
  • Match credit card receipts to monthly statements in Excel
  • Work as a Health Care Provide in needed
  • Manage office and caregiver supply inventory

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma. Completion of a recognized program, such as the HCA/PSW/MOA would be an asset
  • Experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry an asset
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a reliable car
  • Proficiency with computers, learning new software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
