Kerr & Kerr Landscaping & Property Maintenance is seeking a dependable and positive Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in being organized, helpful, and reliable, and who enjoys supporting a fast-paced but supportive office environment. We are looking for someone who values professionalism, teamwork, and creating a calm, well-run workspace.
You will work closely with management and assist in keeping daily operations running smoothly.
This is a position best suited to someone who enjoys being the steady, behind-the-scenes support that helps a team function at its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with basic accounts receivable follow-ups and low-priority collections
- Data entry and administrative support for bookkeeping and invoicing
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee file organization
- Support management with job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews
- Help maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with internal communications and general office coordination
- Provide general administrative support to management as needed
(Full task list will evolve as the role grows and responsibilities are delegated.)

Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred
- Comfortable with email, phone communication, and standard office software

- Experience with bookkeeping or invoicing is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Compensation
- Approximately $23/hour (Livable Wage Employer)
- Full-time, in-office position
- Stable weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Immediate start date available
