Responsibilities
• Process and post customer payments accurately
• Create and send invoices and customer statements
• Apply payments to accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Use HubSpot CRM to track customer accounts, communications & payment activity
• Handle billing and payment-related phone calls, emails & texts
• Proactively call customers regarding billing questions, payment issues, and past-due balances
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up consistently to ensure accounts are paid
• Assist with collections efforts and escalate issues as needed
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and aging reports
Requirements
• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Bookkeeping, or a similar role
• Experience with Shopify, HubSpot CRM, and accounting systems is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Clear, professional, and confident communication skills (phone and email)
• Comfortable working with financial information and discussing overdue balances with customers
• Basic Excel and computer skills
