As a core member of our Institutional Services team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Your Role:
A challenging and exciting reporting design and build role in the Institutional Services team of a leading funds industry provider, providing quantitative investment reporting. The team provides custom reports that include, but are not limited ledger/trades, security master data, investment analytics, compliance/limit reporting, liquidity and cash projection, exposure and/or operational reports. The role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a wide range of structured products in many currencies on a global scale and to understand the fund industry’s evolving performance management needs.
- You will be responsible for resolution of accounting and reporting reconciliation breaks and process improvements – coordinate with Fund Accounting, Reporting and Client Services team.
- Participate in the RFP/Business Development process as the SME on all thing’s performance, exposure, and projection related
- Oversight of global reporting team across multiple time zones
- Delivery and management of client-specific reporting requirements including client-specific data integration deliverables sourcing data from multiple underlying applications
- Work with Institutional Client Service team on team schedule and coverage, including support for team absences, holidays and/or monthly deliverable windows
- Delivery/Oversight of team deliverables to client delivery team
- Update management on team performance, individual growth opportunities, and training requirements
- Lead data analysis, data mapping, and data sourcing projects for Institutional Services
- Liaise with all Citco LOBs to identify additional data sources required to facilitate advanced reporting
- Responsible for new fund investments into reporting platform, including subscription docs and limited partner agreements, for required data such as dealing terms and manager fees
- Oversight and validation of daily T+1 accounting data from Citco Fund Accounting team in reporting system monitoring market values, P&L, uncommitted capital, actual vs. booked values into FoF reporting environment
- Oversight of quarterly collection of underlying portfolio company data for look through reporting of drawdown investments
- Manage monthly collection of hedge fund, private equity, private real estate, and mutual fund manager documents and analytics
- Collate data from a variety of sources in order to facilitate advanced reporting
About You:
- You have 7 years working experience in asset/investment data management and reporting required
- 2 years’ experience as a team lead/manager with people management responsibilities required
- Proficiency with SQL, including reading and writing queries for ad hoc requests including unions, joins, grouping and aggregation
- Effective oral and written communication skills with client-facing experience; the ability to deliver complex information objectively for open discussion and follow up with an opinion or recommendation
- Strong work ethic, comfort with learning new systems in a small tight-knit team environment
- Familiarity with multiple data formats (XML, CSV, etc.)
- Microsoft Excel skills preferred (pivots, V lookup, VBA & Macros)
- STEM degree preferred
