Position: Power BI Report Developer
Location: Oshawa, ON (2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 8 months to start
Pay:$57.00 - $65.00 p/h inc. + HST

Deliverables
- Migrate legacy SSRS reports to modern business intelligence solutions while designing and developing advanced dashboards and interactive reports using Power BI.
- Build and maintain scalable data models and reporting datasets to support efficient analytics and enterprise reporting needs.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading from multiple data sources while ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Publish, manage, and support reports in enterprise BI environments while troubleshooting data queries, report accuracy, and performance issues.
Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced experience developing business intelligence dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI and modern data platforms.
- Strong proficiency with structured query language (SQL) for querying, transforming, and managing relational datasets.
- Experience designing scalable data models using best practices such as star schema and implementing ETL processes across multiple data sources.
- Experience working in Agile environments with source control and issue tracking tools, with relevant business intelligence or analytics certifications considered an asset.
