Role Description

Mitre Media is a high-growth, profitable technology company focused on financial media. We are seeking an experienced Ad Operations Manager on a contract basis to support maternity leave coverage. This is a fixed-term independent contractor engagement, expected to last approximately 8 months, with the option to extend up to one year.

The Ad Operations Manager will play a key role in the coordination and management of multiple online advertising campaigns across our premium brands, including MutualFunds.com, MunicipalBonds.com, and Dividend.com.

Day-to-day ad operations will be the primary focus of this role, but you will also be client-facing—helping manage our ultra-premium advertising products and relationships with some of the largest financial services institutions in the world.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and take pride in getting things done accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple advertising campaigns simultaneously from start to finish, including forecasting, booking, troubleshooting, optimization, and reporting
  • Coordinate with clients on campaign assets and test creative across devices
  • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot ad-serving issues
  • Monitor campaign pacing to ensure full delivery, produce performance reports, and proactively adjust campaigns to mitigate underperformance
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization based on advertiser goals and product performance
  • Serve as Mitre Media’s day-to-day post-sale client point of contact
  • Draft and edit pricing proposals
  • Provide screenshot decks upon campaign launches and for all creative rotations
  • Prepare and support monthly invoicing

Requirements

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a similar ad operations role, preferably working with an SSP such as Google Ad Manager
  • Experience managing PMPs
  • Familiarity with digital ad sales and measurement tools (e.g., LiveIntent, Google Analytics, IAS, Moat, DoubleVerify, LinkedIn)
  • Extremely high attention to detail with a natural inclination to double-check work
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, business, and sales teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; personable and professional
  • Strong listening skills with a talent for asking thoughtful questions
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile user behavior and trends
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and Google Workspace
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and enjoys execution-focused work

Why You Should Join the Mitre Team

  • Competitive compensation for a temporary role
  • Fully remote work environment
  • Opportunity to work with a collaborative, high-performing team
  • Exposure to premium advertisers and major financial institutions
  • Respectful, open, and supportive culture focused on results and growth
