    Full Job Description

    Job duties:

    • Assist in post-order booking operations, such as: preparation of sales-related documentation
    • Provide efficient delivery logistics through data management
    • Complete import-export documentation, compile carrier and route assignments, compute international fees for each shipment and keep track of shipment payment and quotas
    • Assist in shipping, receiving, and record keeping for international transactions
    • Place and process purchase order and facilitate communication among customers, suppliers, freight forwarders
    • Issue invoices to customers and suppliers, manage account receivable
    • Provide customer service and follow up with customers
    • Manage customer database
    • General administrative/accounting tasks, such as: filing, answering phones, travel arrangement, invoicing and bookkeeping

    Key Competencies:

    • Knowledge of Letters of Credit and Trade Finance related banking operations
    • Familiar with the legal requirements regarding importing and exporting shipments, as well as the company’s internal procedures
    • Working knowledge with international shipping documents, such as commercial invoice, packing list, air waybill
    • Confident with figures
    • Ability to communicate effectively and build good relations with team members
    • Fluency in English and able to communicate in a second language is an asset
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel / Word / Outlook) and internet
    • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

    Salary: $34,320.00-$44,000.00 per year
