Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and other designated areas to ensure safe and accessible conditions during winter weather events. This role requires a strong understanding of snow removal equipment, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in challenging weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow tractor effectively and safely.
- Clear snow and ice from roadways, parking lots, sidewalks, and other designated areas.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections, minor repairs, and necessary maintenance.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of yourself and others on the job site.
- Respond promptly to changing weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience operating a large snow tractor
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to the operation of snow plowing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work long hours during winter storms, including nights and weekends as necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
We service the Mississauga area.
Guaranteed hours whether it snows or not
Must have your own vehicle to get to job site.
