As our Business Development Representative, you will:
Prospect for new business opportunities within existing and greenfield accounts through cold call and email outreach. Identify prospect pain points and clearly articulate the Firmex value proposition to drive further interest in a call or product demonstration with the Sales Executive team. Build contact lists of highly qualified prospects using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo. Collaborate with marketing and Sales Executive teams to execute campaigns focused on driving demand within targeted industries and strategic accounts. Record all sales activity and intelligence in Salesforce and report on success metrics.What you’ll need to be successful as a Business Development Representative:
6-12 months of B2B sales experience or a recent post-secondary graduate eager to begin a career in B2B technology sales. A ‘hunter’ mentality- a competitive mindset with a strong desire to win. Resilient attitude with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to contribute individually and work within a strong team culture. Excellent written, presentation, and demonstration skills. Highly diplomatic and respectful. Experience with tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Groove is a plus.
