Here’s the job opportunity…


The Reinsurance Analyst will support daily/monthly tasks related to the administration of reinsurance. The Reinsurance Analyst will stay abreast of insurance changes, reinsurance issues related to TAI processing, and ensure proper documentation and controls are in place to avoid any deficiencies.

In this role you will:

Assist with the review/investigation of policy listings for both internal and reinsurer audits, and make recommendations based on findings
Manage the reinsurance escalations mailbox by logging, triaging, and completing necessary requests
Monitor and ensure TAI is updated regularly
Provide reinsurance calculations, reinsurance treaties/amendments, and other supporting documentation to auditors/third parties
Complete monthly reinsurance settlement reviews, and maintain accurate records
Respond to and fulfill ad hoc report requests

What we are looking for…



3-5 years’ experience in the life insurance industry with a good understanding of insurance products
Reinsurance administration experience and an understanding of reinsurance treaties is an asset
College Diploma or University Degree in a related field
Working knowledge and/or experience with TAI 3.3 or 4.0 is an asset
Excellent computer and technical skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills
Detail oriented
Takes Initiative
LOMA education is an asset
