What you will do
Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will work in close partnership with the General Manager to provide advice and support in making strategic and operational decisions to achieve short and mid-term goals.
Amgen Canada has 25+ marketed products, $450 M USD annual revenue and 300+ employees .
Finance owner of the P&L; delivers robust sales and OPEX plans, monitoring execution and taking corrective action where needed
Works with global functional leaders in FP&A, GBS, Tax, Treasury, and Accounting to ensure compliance and alignment with Corporate Finance goals
Ensures financial compliance for internal, external and statutory controls
Ensures pricing policy is applied consistent with the European guidelines
Is the affiliate´s contact person to manage External & Internal Financial audits (statutory, tax, corporate internal audits)
Member of the ELMAC Finance Leadership Team
Active participation in Industry associations fora

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 4 years of experience
OR
Master’s degree and 7 years of experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background across all areas of finance (FP&A, Controllership, accounting, tax, FP&A, Treasury)
Skilled in leading and influencing
Local entity finance management experience
CPA or other Finance degree/accreditation. MBA preferred.

Communicates and collaborates effectively within and across functions
