Job Description:
As the Manager, Global Compensation at IMAX Corporation, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of our compensation and total rewards programs. The compensation programs include the annual pay and rewards programs, Executive Compensation, Short Term and Long-Term incentive programs and Job Evaluation. Your expertise in compensation and HR systems, preferably in Workday, will be instrumental in ensuring that our compensation programs are competitive and aligned with market trends.
What You’ll Do:
Translate business strategy into effective compensation solutions, including communications and system changes



Lead market intelligence and benchmarking processes, using external pay sources to collect data and


validate

with internal market intelligence

Collaborate with People Operations, internal HR teams, and other key stakeholders to



establish

competitive salary ranges and provide recommendations

Oversee continuous process design improvements and provide leadership as a subject matter expert

Reports on both quantitative and qualitative analyses on current and proposed total rewards programs including “what-if” scenarios by creating costing models to illustrate


financial impact

in supporting recommendations for management review

Design key scorecard indicators related to compensation and total rewards


Identify

data integrity issues through compensation analysis and recommend solutions

Lead the annual compensation review cycle, including salary increases, bonus calculations, and granting of LTI

Collaborate with leaders across the company and provide support to business partners in recommending changes to aspects of current programs, policies, and procedures to ensure programs are market competitive, internally


equitable

, and cost-effective

Set policies related to compensation and Total rewards workflows

Generate ad-hoc reports (for example, reports on turnover,


HR metrics,


and benefits)

Collaborate with the Payroll team to ensure that Workday Payroll is


accurate

and the primary source for compensation data


Liaise with internal departments such as Legal, Finance etc. and external vendors on compensation and total rewards questions and strategies

Design, configure, lead, and manage the Workday Advanced Compensation module


Lead and

in special projects as


required

What You’ll Need:
5 + years of Total Rewards experience, with a minimum of 2 years at a



manager


level

University Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management

Certified as Compensation professional, preferred


Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation

Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data

Technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel

Demonstrated knowledge of compensation and total rewards principles,


general practices

, and exposure to working in a global environment

Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations

Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis, and provide clear, well-thought-out recommendations


Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and
