Job details Location: Brampton, ON, L6S 6K9 Salary 27.00 hourly/35 hours per Week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Day, Evening, Morning, On Call Start date: Starts as soon as possible Vacancies: 1 vacancy Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting Transportation, communication and utilities Transportation company Responsibilities Tasks Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc. Supervise other workers Train other workers Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs Determine and establish office procedures and routines Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies Schedule and confirm appointments Manage contracts Manage training and development strategies Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages Oversee the analysis of employee data and information Answer electronic enquiries Oversee development of communication strategies Compile data, statistics and other information Oversee the preparation of reports Respond to employee questions and complaints Order office supplies and maintain inventory Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures Oversee payroll administration Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents Provide customer service Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions Maintain and manage digital database Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support Conduct performance reviews Supervise office and volunteer staff Supervision 1 to 2 people Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge Google Docs MS Excel MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Word MS Office Additional information Security and safety Basic security clearance Work conditions and physical capabilities Tight deadlines Attention to detail Repetitive tasks Large caseload Work with minimal supervision Who can apply to this job?.
